After getting extensive treatment when this hospital was owned by private Dr’s. And also After life group took over this hospital I was still treated there and had multiple surgeries also all my children were admitted there ,it’s absolutely shocking to see how this private hospital is so dysfunctional, un professional and aged beds and wards comparing to other life group hospital..I just admit my daughter there last night. I am beyond shocked at the reception staff and trauma unit. B TW I AM STILL WATING AS THEY PROMISED TO INVESTGATE AND GET BACK TO ME HOW PATHTOC IS YOURS MANAFMENTB
This is the worst hospital!!! It’s pathetic to call it a private hospital. My family member was admitted on Sunday and its now Thursday and the Doctors have still not returned my call to tell me the diagnosis or the treatment plan. Every time you approach the nurse to ask them something nobody knows anything.
I was admitted to Chatsmed garden hospital on 09/05/24 for a dual fistulotomy. Dr Morgan Naidoo was my referred Surgeon and he was the epitome of professionalism and excellence from my consult to my post op check up. Thanks doc…much appreciated 👍
His assistant/receptionist Kiuri was also very helpful and accommodating with my medical aid requirements and made my admin hassles an easy one. Thank you so much👏
A special shoutout to the nurses that attended to me during my short tenure. In particular, sister Samisha and sister Cherylene (I hope I’m getting these names right as I was in much pain😭). These two were very instrumental in explaining all my medications….procedure prep and overall care to ensure I was comfortable in my disposition. Sister Samisha’s extensive knowledge about any questions I asked, was so detailed…I often felt like I was speaking to a doctor☺️
Sister Cherylene (again, I hope I’m getting the name right) always went the extra mile to have my process be more fluent and fathomable. She was always pleasant and helpful to everyone.
A young nurse Ntombi(blonde hair) was also very helpful and congenial all the time. Really helped me so much with my sitz bath and the process after…she’s so sweet😊
Night shift staff sisters Hazel and Colleen stood out. They were always checking up on me and aiding in my requests without any ambivalence. Loved them 👍
A special mention …..
There was an elderly gentleman opposite me in the ward that was 88 years old. At that age, your functionality can be impaired, but I commend the standard these 5 ladies showed in making “Pa” feel good despite his situation. Patient and empathetic, the way these ladies communicated and cared for him was beyond admirable ✨
Ntombi (who became PA’s fave 🤣) used to feed him with such care and attention that it always made me feel warm inside ❤️
My experience at Chatsmed was an anxious one…due to my complicated procedure… But the personnel made my stay…a comfortable and congenial one
