A very frustrating and dissapointing experience from the time we entered, untill we left, following a day procedure for my baby. Feedback was requested via email but no one follows up on that. Very dissapointed in the lack of service delivery. Please upskill your staff all around. Your doctor’s are amazing but the rest are sadly sub par.
Staff are super accommodating and friendly. I am from Jhb and this is the best by far. Feels like home. Our little one had tonsils out and staff are truly amazing.
Excellent service from both staff and Drs they are all very helpful. Had a bad experience 5years ago but chatsmed has up its game from then. Food was very good and wards were very clean and neat as well as excellent pride and care from all the nurses, cleaners and hosts as they are very accommodating to your needs.
Pleasant experience getting hospitalized at the facility. Well done to them as generally health-care facilities don’t keep up to standard these days.
Visited the truma unit on Saturday (6th July ) at around 7pm. My daughter had taken our grandson of 7 months,as he was really not feeling well. They get to the truma ward, female doctor checks him, orders x.ray and draws bloods ( really on a 7 month old) he is put on a drip. Oh my daughter also gets told child is underweight, at 7 months he should be 14kg, This person needs to have her head read.
Son in law told to go sort out paperwork, not on medical aid pays them Around R5000.00 , Gets back to truma, doc advises, something irregular with bloods results, x/ray shows congestion. Drip is going to take 16 hours or so, must book child in for 3days. (QUOTED R 25K FOR 3 DAYS.)
R5K SPENT FOR CRAP TALK FROM TRAUMA UNIT ,
NON MEDICAL AID PATIENTS VISIT A GP AND SAVE FROM BEING RIPPED OFF.
LONG STORY SHORT, TODAY VISITED THE CHILDS PEdiatrian at the very same hospital, checked baby up, yes bit of congestion.diagnosis flu, antibiotics/ probiotic etc .
Advised the Doc of Saturdays episode he seemed surprised.
Baby already looking a bit better.
STAFF YOUR TRAUMA UNIT WITH HONEST DOCTORS / NURSES NOT WITH MONEY HUNGRY STAFF.
WILL NEVER RETURN TO CHATSMED…….
