I wonder if Olivedale Hospital is private or spaza centre or step down hospital as their service is very pathetic. I had procedure on the 8th July…after waking up from procedure, I was offered hard dried food which I couldn’t eat as I was nauseous. I requested soft food but all nurses were pretending not to know what’s going on till the day ends as a result, no food . The next day same drill still never offered soft food .. had to get food from my neighbour at list eat something. The male nurse gave me meds to drink but accidentally dropped it, the male nurse picked up the pill from the floor and gave me to drink it..is it how you guys treat patients or it’s the race thing…the list is endless. I am very disappointed with Olivedale service..above all am charged exorbitant amount maybe including the dried food I never ate
Excellent service
I was booked into Olivedale for tests on my thyroid and I cannot commend the staff and doctors enough for their passion towards their jobs. Every nurse, assistant, helper, doctor, cleaning staff and porters were absolutely wonderful to be around 😊. I will keep using Olivedale Hospital as there is no other to compare with. Thank you all for making me not long to go home 😘. I’m especially referring to Ward 7.
The financial department of this hospital is absolutely horrendous. We never received the deposit back for which we contacted several people. The responsible played dumb and lied about contacting my foreign bank since I’m European.
Also the staff (apart from the doctor) spoke terrible English.
Was in section 7 , no visibility of unit manager.
Imagine you are in for minor op and healthy, u are allocated with long stay pts and they are coughing their lungs out! Frightening experience!!!! Don’t even voice your fears??????
