How long should it take a nurse to respond to a request?

No assistance to bath or clean and patient needs assistance !! Just leave a basin with water. You are a PRIVATE institution that WE PAY for services!!!! You don’t pay us to get I’ll…

Portia Lepogo's Review

February 3, 2024

The service we have been receiving was disappointing at first. We were not given the exact amount to which we would be paying for a room in surgical ward D, of which we accepted because we were desperate. The doctor was nowhere to be found for almost two days when we were in the ICU. My father was in pain, and he needed immediate care. It’s only when we made a scene in the ICU that the nurses called the doctor who was apparently “held up somewhere”, he came rushing to assist us. He’s immediate response revealed to us that he was actually close by and didn’t care to check up on his patients for almost 2days. His answer to everything was ‘pain killers’. The nurses where very friendly however, they’re genuinely kind people. On the morning, before my father’s passing, we paid all of our fees in advance, as we always did. We still haven’t gotten a refund or at least a statement. Which was fine at first because we were dealing with so much at the time. Only a few days later the hospital had the audacity to take more money from our account, without even contacting us, or giving us a statement first. I’m very disappointed, and I will make sure no one in my family is ever admitted there.
