Ladies if you are giving birth at this institution please do your research, the anaesthesiologists here are not well equiped with knowledge and when you ask for advice from them they will not tell you the truth, the spinal injection comes with many risks that they will not tell you, rather opt for General anaesthesia, i was even shocked that they offer general anaesthesia, but i was scared of sleeping because of the statistics is SA of children being swapped and stolen, no nurse reassured me of my baby’s safety instead both the nurses and the doctor laughed at me when i told them im scared. Lastly i would like to advice the hospital to hire staff that will be sympathetic with their clients and take their safety first and make sure we are okay, the hospital has a lot in play to make your life easier, problem is the people that they hire. I have lodged a complaint with the hospital they did a follow up and it ended in them saying i must contact the doctor who both him and my gynae ignored me ever since, its very sad, actions taken after this will be my last resort, we spend a lot of money at private institutions and negligent medical practitioners want to make it seem like its free.

The worst private hospital in South Africa. I was admitted in May, doctor did colonoscopy, claimed to my medical aid, and failed to submit relevant documents to medical aid. Medical aid refuses to pay , and now I owe the doctor thousands of rand. When I was discharged, doctor wrote me a prescription. Sister in charge told junior nurse to take my prescription to pharmacy. When u reach pharmacy I was told after a long time that they don’t have my prescription. I went home without medication. Following day the pharmacist called me and said that my medication is ready for collection. What a Horror Hospital!
