If I could give zero stars I would. Worst hospital ever. We arrived at the emergency department after my son had a motorcycle accident on 13/05/2024. It took them over an hour and a half to open a file for us. Patients that arrived well over two hours after us got seen before us. For example a lady with her daughter that sprained her ankle at school got seen before my son . No working system. Another 3 hours later and still no dr. When I complained, the staff were laughing and speaking in their native language. I dont even want to know what they said about me. When we eventually saw a dr, I asked the dr if they were at least going to clean my son’s wounds and he said no he would be fine. I physically had to scrub his wounds the evening to remove the pieces of tar still stuck to his wounds on his back and elbows. The emergency department is dirty. Staff slow, lazy and unprofessional. An absolute disgrace for a private hospital. What is going on Sunward Park Hospital? Where did the service go? Where did caring for your patients go? Clearly a hospital running into the ground. I have never in my life experienced this kind of service. I will never go to Sunward Park Hospital again. You could be sitting there bleeding out and they wont care. Clearly staff that does not want to be there and are just there for the paycheck.
Worst hospital, took my sister inlaw to the emergency room last night, she was in such pain, they only helped her to a bed 2 hours later. The emergency room is so dirty there were needles and equipment lying on the floor!!! The nurses are so lazy and slow! We decided to leave and go to another hospital! I would have never gone there as I never do, but it was an emergency. I should have just gone somewhere else from the beginning!!! Terrible hospital!!! 0 stars
I am not sure why we keep finding ourselves in this hospital.
The casualty department is probably worse than the Gvt hospital.
They never have enough capacity to assist patients. sometimes one Dr on call for the evening.
The horrible experience is quite consistent, and there is no sense of urgency for extreme cases.
It’s unfortunate it’s the closest medical care for us.
