Admission absolutely horrible experience. Son broke his arm, in so much pain, placed him as code yellow. It took +- 1 hour to open a file. Then while I’m waiting they proceed to run out of printer ink. Admission staff running around looking for ink. Whole stack of old cartridges stacked near printer, shaking each one to see if there’s some ink in it to print. (They can only start treatment once file opened.) How do you run a hospital like this? After all that I have to transfer my son to Entabeni, because Parklands had some issue with the operating theater and no orthopedic surgeon on staff, which delayed my son’s surgery.

*Nurses absolutely lovely, too bad hospital management so poor.*

The hospital did not send bill works on “estimates” and nurses are extremely RUDE and unhelpful. Staff Don’t know basic things about how the hospital works. No one to guide you to the correct place , will prioritise money instead of treatment. Charges for every little thing. Still unsure of what my total bill is. Will keep you in and delay treatment to extend hospital stay and charge more

Pathetic service!!!! My mum went in for a procedure. After she came back from theatre she was given tea and jelly . . .as she was reacting to the anesthetic she did not eat. Thereafter she was not given any meals not even water. She was discharged on wednesday morning and the last time she had eaten was on Monday at home.

I had an allergic reaction on new years eve 31st December 2023. I was admitted to this hospital unfortunately. My throat closed up so I struggled to breathe and could barely talk. The following morning I felt even worse after the nurses gave me a drip so I kept telling them I am feeling worse. When the rude doctor Mulla and nurse Ramdhani arrived for my check up, I greeted them and was ignored. Furthermore, I told them that I am allergic to penicillin and I tried typing out a message on my phone so the doctor could read it. They both glanced and ignored it completely. I went on to find out that they were giving me penicillin and they were supposed to do an allergy test so I could find out what caused my body to react this way. They never did an allergy test. I ended up getting infected with covid somehow and they isolated me. My body reacted badly to one of the medicines again and I tried pressing the emergency button, it wasn’t working. I felt my body going into an fit-like state and when it subsided I woke up quickly. I took a look at the medication next to me and there was a new box of penicillin on my table. The same medicine I told them I am allergic to! I knew right there and then that these people pay absolutely no attention to what you say. I was treated as if I was in a public hospital! They have no care or respect for you as a patient, its disgraceful to say the least. The hospital is also absolutely filthy including the toilets. There was even dried blood on my pillow. I will never recommend this hospital to anyone! I should have read the reviews first before I came here….these 1 star reviews truly speak volumes. If I had the energy, I would have punched this doctor in his face that’s how angry I was with the treatment here. I have taken it up further and I would appeal to anyone else who had an issue to do the same. Do not let them get away scot free.

Oncology ward is useless. More like an old age home. Nurses need to be replaced. They don’t care for patients. Patients families have to sit in ward the entire day to take care of their loved ones.
