I had THE WORST experience visiting this hospital’s emergency room this afternoon, and I did visit emergency rooms in the past, both for myself and family members, from different hospitals in Durban even some that most people complain about yet today was an eye opener that most hospital staff nowdays only care about the money they get paid instead of the oath they take to care and nurse the ill. My wife was in severe pain and she is 3 months pregnant, the reception was more concerned about paper work than rushing her into an examination room to administer pain meds. We got there around 4pm and was only attended to at 6.20pm. And all that time the staff from reception kept walking pass us and didn’t care to even try and speed up the process yet they can see my wife was in pain and in tears, they did not even call a doctor. Honestly worst than a government office. And when she was eventually taken to a room, the doctor in charge was busy doing admin for 30 minutes and my wife was in pain on the bed. To the hospital staff that is incharge, if you do see this, sort your reception and emergency room staff out, they truly are giving your hospital a bad name, read the other comments on Google. The staff literally drag their feet and walk around when people are there cause they are in pain. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL TO ANYONE

This hospital misdiagnosed my minor child, some nurses were extremely rude to my kid and refused to address her medical issues correctly without my medical aid giving them an authorisation number. Problem is they won’t get an authorisation code at night! Pathetic, poor and any parent who has a sick child should not take your child here!
