The lack of interest at this hospital is astounding. Firstly we sat for 45min waiting for to be called to complete admission forms, while people arriving after us were getting called before us. Only after speaking to some about it were we seen to . We were then “welcomed” by some of the most unpleasant, non-smiling staff who seemed to have been under the impression that tending to a patient was a favour rather than a career choice. The wait to the the GP was another 2hours, only to be told an x-ray was needed. There again was a 2 hour wait. The GP that said after he x-rays , needs to speak to the Orthopedist left and handed the case over to another doctor without informing the patient , which then caused another unnecessarily long wait, to then be told that surgery is needed and the patient needs to be admitted ASAP. In totality we sat from 9:00 to 15:00 just for a X-ray. The level of service is so disappointing. A far cry from the previous Glory Days of the hospital.Show more
Terrible experience.. My son had to be rushed to the er on the night of the 6th April due to his high fever from chicken pox. The man at the admission desk did not look up from his phone to address my concerns and then had the cheek to tell me to calm down. No sense of urgency or empathy. I pray that we are never in need of an emergency roomShow more
Ever again
I must say though that the nurse who attended him after that was very good.
Conveniently situated private hospital
I consulted with a Dr Santosh Bugwandin at Parklands Hospital to get a view of my worrisome condition. I had previously consulted other urologists but by my Doctors referral I was directed to consider a final medical opinion. Dr Bugwandin at the outset was professional and amazingly informative, he was straightforward and confident that I would receive the treatment as required. From my admission, surgery and post operative experience, it was exactly as Dr Bugwandin had explained, I knew that only a Doctor of experience and skill could be as precise in the surgery and after care needed. I recovered very well. It was the best decision I took when I trusted to put my most personal and most worrying medical concerns in the hands of Doctor Bugwandin. I am truly grateful for trusting at the outset in the skill of Doctor Bugwandin. I am at complete peace of mind that I am at last confident that any and all my in urological issues will most skilfully be addressed with Doctor Bugwandin, I neither need look no further nor be concerned what to expect, Doctor Bugwandin is certainly the best choice I can depend on.Show more
