They were an excellent medical facility, however in the past year I’ve had to wait over a week for script requests (calling multiple times) and now I’m waiting over 4 days for a medical history report. Honestly feel like they’re ignoring their patients

Booked online appointment for covid test to be told next day 10am that doctor can’t see me and they giving me a different doc at 10:15. I have been waiting for the call for 30 mins now. My daughter and I are both running fevers waiting in the car so we can get tested. Ridiculous!

Very disappointed in the medical service received. My son saw one of the doctors at NHC Bryanston, Fri 3 Sep, late afternoon. He had had diarrhea for a week. The Dr asked some questions, felt his stomach and diagnosed an infection in the small and large intestine, all well within his 15min appointment. He prescribed an array of anti biotics, a pro biotic, charged him R650, and sent him on his way. This morning, after a full 4 days of meds, and still feeling awful, he made an appointment with our family GP, who had been away on leave last week. He spent 30 minutes with him, a stool sample was requested, he was thoroughly examined, an electrolyte supplement was prescribed, along with meds (only be taken once the stool sample has been collected). How is it possible for the Dr at NHC to diagnose an intestinal infection WITHOUT a stool sample or blood work?? Thoroughly unimpressed!! A complete waste of resources.
