After what I have experienced yesterday Westville and public hospitals is the same I have been there for an hour not been attended and the baby was vomiting and crying non stop non of the staff tried to attend us after an hour they called us just to tell us the beds are full what nonsense is that after an hour 😑
Don’t even bother coming here in an emergency after hours .
This hospital has scraped the bottom of the barrel when it comes to hiring of GP doctors .
Their doctors are giving alcoholic vibes . All jokes aside these doctors have clearly failed dismally in private practice and their expertise is questionable – does the hospital management care ? No . They’re only interested in processing claims . They can’t be bothered if your actually treated or not
They have a doctor who won’t squeal about pay or leave them for something better , because he won’t ever qualify for anything better. This is the sorry state of affairs in South African healthcare sector – and this review is coming from a Doctor .
ABSOLUTELY APPALLING TO KNOW THAT THIS HOSPITAL DOESN’T ANSWER THEIR PHONES AND MANAGERS DON’T RESPOND TO EMAILS YET THEY PROMISE YOU THE WORLD WHEN YOU ARE INFRONT OF THEM BUT WHEN THERE’S AN ISSUE, THEY IGNORE CONTACT!!!!!
I’VE SENT 2 EMAILS TO THE RESPECTIVE PERSON AS PER MY PHONE CONVERSATION WITH HIM ON FRIDAY 8 MAY. TODAY IS FRIDAY 17 MAY AND HE STILL HASN’T ACKNOWLEDGED MY EMAILS. THERE’S AN ISSUE FROM THE ADMINISTRATION SIDE WITH AUTHORISATION AND COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE EMERGENCY ROOMS DEPARTMENT AND NOW I’M HAVING TO ENDURE THIS STRESS AND HARASSMENT FROM DR. BREMERS ROOM WANTING TO CHARGE ME R3400 SOME ODD JUST FOR A CONSULT WHICH I WASN’T EVEN SUPPOSED TO BE BILLED FOR!
