Horrid experience with Life Poortview. Be careful of this place. Incompetent staff and no communication, treat patients like prisoners. Disgusted.
I was admitted last year during festive season, and the staff was very nice even though sometimes they do change their attitude but it’s understandable. In the teenage ward, it sometimes felt like we were being treated like prisoners because we can’t do a lot of stuff without talking to the nurses. Even when one wanted to take a walk in the ward, you were watched and asked to go back to your room. Regardless of the food, the other patients we so welcoming, and the place brought me so much joy, it was amazing to be surrounded by people that want to change and heal. Wish I could stay there every weekend at least. But I know for sure I am gonna go there again. XOXO
