Life Peglerae Hospital

Life Peglerae Hospital Rustenburg emergency unit should be closed down. It is worse than most neglected public clinics in our country. There is no sense of urgency from doctors whatsoever! I was treated “ supposedly “ since there is not much this arrogant man did for me, by Mothetho Stephens Dibetso, the most inefficient, rude, incompetent ,unprofessional doctor with non existent communications skills . This man was well aware of my critical condition and did not even bother to attend to me . By the time he came in he just asked me if the nurses took my urine sample, of which they had not. After they took the sample. He came back after a long time to check if the drip was finished . No feedback on the results nor diagnostics , and just like that I was given a prescription by the nurse and got discharged . When I asked for him in order to explain to me the diagnostics, results and recommended medication and called him out on his work ethic he started being defensive and gave excuses of attending to another emergency.

I will not recommend getting treatment from this Doctor , we do not need such hostile people operating in our medical fraternity. People’s lives are more endangered in his hands than they are with any form of illness.

Private hospital ran like a bloody public hospital.

I’ve personally have not been to Life Peglerae Hospital but some of my employees have been there and had their consultations through / with Dr Stevens Setati and what a disappointing and painful experience that they have had with the Specialist.

Ill just highlight one of the employees whom I’m making reference of, Jocob Mosito, who was a Scraper Winch Operator at Siyanda Bakgatla Platinum Mine. The employee has been Medically Boarded due to Medical conditions on the 31st of July 2023. The employee hasn’t been receiving a proper salary since he got injured in January 2022.

Fortunately for the employee, there is an insurance that was established for such employees and through their medical consultations and Medical reports, they are able to claim this insurance.

The unfortunate part is that this particular employee has not received his medical reports from Dr Stevens Setati from the last consultation they had in July 2022.

These report are crucial for the insurance to finalize the employees claim to be paid out but there is one BIG STUMBLING BLOCK that is blocking the insurance to pay out the claim to the member and those reports are not being released by Dr Stevens Setati.

I hope this reaches to the Directors of this instituion at Life Peglerae Hospital so that they are aware of what is happening within their facilities.

Several Communication have to passed to Dr Setati regarding this one particular employee and till today 07.09.2023 these reports have not been issued. Questions now arise whether the reports were done or not and if they were done, why are they talking over a year to be complied?

The office has stopped taking calls from Mr Mosito, he has been traveling from brits to Rustenburg to Life Peglerae Hospital in hopes that he will get his results up to the point that Mr Mosito has lost hope that he will ever receive them. The only thing he walks out with from Dr Stevens Setati’ office are empty promises that his reports will be sent. Its been over a year!

To the Management of Life Peglerae Hospital based in Rustenburg, 173 Beyers Naude Drive, please assist and intervene in this matter to make a difference in this Patients life and help him get his medical reports. After several attempts from medical practitioners at Platinum Health to get these reports, this is just one more cry out to Dr Setati to release Mr Mosito’ Medical reports.

Pathetic service, after being booked in and everything, i’ve been waiting almost 5 hours for a bed. And no one can give you an answer on when you can expect to get a bed. Just keep being told that they’ll call you. I’ll never visit this hospital again. Rather make the drive to a hospital in gauteng.

I’ve upped my rating from 1 star to 3 star just because of the helpfull and kind nurses in Ward E.

I had to wait for up 3 hours just for my vitals to be checked. And also it goes by how sick you look, so I suggest if you do decide to come to this hospital you must show your illness or they will think you not that sick and place you last. Honestly still annoyed, even had to cancel seeing the doctor after 4 hours of them telling us that there is only one doctor available.
