The maternity ward is very clean. The nurses and assistants are really helpful and friendly. I had a very good midwife when I gave birth in August 2021. Will recommend it to anyone looking for a free birthing clinic.
What a horrible experience with this clinic. I was referred here by Ubuntu, I went to check the admin process as I was told I will deliver my baby at Discovery. Came across the lady by the name Matshidiso who I think she doesnt know what customer service is. She doesn’t fit to deal with poeple. The lady needs training on how to deal with poeple.
She left me so traumatized. This was supposed to be the most joyful moment as this is my first child but this woman robbed me with that opportunity. Thank God I had to go to another hospital to deliver who knows what they are doing. Her reception is so pathetic.
What happened to Ubuntu , surely Government officials need to practice this principles.
It is very unprofessional to talk to patient they way you feel . This woman needs training I insist.

How can a doctor not even touch a patient to access her. Refused ex Rays you can get lucky and get the most wonderful doctor’s but most of them are rude, unsympathetic and down right disgusting. They chose and took an oath to help people, they should not be doctors!
If you are looking for friendly and helpful staff working in a goverment health centre, then this is the place to go.

Not even two hours there. Opened a file, saw the doctor, went for x-rays, the doctor even came up to the x-ray department to find out where I am. Waiting until the x-ray was done. She escorted me to the physio department so that I can make an appointed at the physio department.
Thank you for showing me there is still some hope for us in our countries health system.
