Me and my parents have been going to Linmed since you opened best service from all wards and nurses and other staff, only had issues with the one doctor, but won’t go to any other hospital in Benoni, tried another non Netcare hospital it was a disaster. Will only ever support a Netcare hospital or ambulance service
I was admitted to Linmed 2 weeks ago and spent 4 days in hospital. I requested to be discharged because of how I was treated by the nursing staff in the Medical Ward, even though I was still very ill. I sent a complaint to the hospital, explaining what happened to me, but now I’m not even getting any feedback from them. I was denied medical care and ambushed in my bed in the middle of the night while I was sleeping. The nurse actually pulled my blankets off me, accusing me of vaping, even though she could clearly see I was fast asleep. That same evening around 19h00, I pressed my call button because something was wrong with my drip. A nurse came in and said she would call someone, but 1h30 hours later, I was still waiting. I pressed my call button again, and the nurse came in and said “o, it’s still not working” and walked out my room. No one ever came back to help me. The next morning I asked the doctor to please discharge me. When the nurse came to take my drip out, she said that the drip already came out, that’s why it was not running and my hand and arm was badly swollen. I even sent the pictures to the Ward Manager. This was a horrible experience. These were just some of the things that happened to me during my stay.
It’s always horrifying to go to Linmed hospital, the nurses are incredible good and doing their best, but Doctors do nothing except talk about their personal life in from of patients. Not attending to anyone. The wait before being attended to minimum is at least 3 hours.
The sink are rusty and falling apart. Nurses looks very tired cause their over walking them.

Bad Worse Service ever. Needed to see a doctor today. Have a serious condition – got at the hospital at 9h30 – only blood pressure was taken – 12h00 still no help – then decided to go. This is absolutely terrible service from this hospital.
