Midrand Medical Centre

I would like to share my experiences with the public about this medical center. I have been coming here for the past 4 years and zi have always been helped with friendliness and efficiency. The doctors are knowledgeable and act decisively. I have sent many of our bakeries staff member here for consultations and treatment. And have always been treated excellently. If you have any medical issue we would highly recommend this center.

My mother in law saw Dr Dreyer and was referred for an X-ray on 17 July. The person who did the X-ray told my mother in law that Dr Dreyer will have the xray results within in hour. On 18 July my mother in law phone the practice to ask for her results. She was told that she must wait 7 days for her results from the doctor. Which is completely insane! Considering the results were available within an hour. We held our breath for 7 days and still didn’t receive a call from dr Dreyer. On the 8th day we phoned numerous times in the day and we kept being told that dr Dreyer will phone back with the results. We still haven’t received a call from Dr Dreyer. This is completely unacceptable behaviour from a medical professional. It appears that once you paid for your consultation, your name disappears off their radar. My mother in law has been walking in unnecessary pain for another week, not knowing what’s the cause because we are waiting for dr Dreyer to give the xray results before we can move to the next step. Please spend your money somewhere else.

Made an appointment for 16:15 with dr Williams and she only attended me at 17:05

Worst experience ever today at MMC appointment was at 3pm , and it’s now 4h22pm. Apparently Dr Williams is also the ER doctor. Ow explain to me how on earth this works hey … I’m paying premium rates on discovery for this kind of service ??? You tell me I must sit here in excruciating tummy pains and cramps and just deal with this all because they can’t manage another ER doc separately… and nor can they get another doctor for me.to see either… this is poor health care service from MMC truly disappointed as they would rather a patient sit for more than 1 hrs and be in pain rather than make a plan . Definitely not the level of service I expected after being a recurring client.
