Worst service ever from labor ward!
Called to enquire if I could perhaps drink Citro soda for a bladder infection because it was already 7pm and I am 28 weeks pregnant.
I was asked who my gynie is and I answered by saying he is in Pretoria.
I was answered with : “Joh, we can’;t help you and you need to find a GP in Nelspruit”…
Yes… 7pm on a saturday night on easter weekend… I need to find a GP…
I asked about seeing a doctor at the hospital tge following day because it is a Sunday… nope, they cannot direct me…I just need to find a GP in Nelspruit…
Great service… so glad I decided to rather have my child in Pretoria…
Will just have to cope for now…

The total incompetence of the staff and management of this previous prestigious establishment has caused this private hospital to whither away.
There is no competent staff available when needed. My mother is there in extreme pain without any regard from staff, my wife must stand in as nurse because of the toal uselessness from nurses on duty.
Last night i was rushed to medi clinic by my parents.
There was no one who tried to help me. I was in imense pain,later diagnosed with severe mastoiditis at kiaat hospital,where they helped me in less than 5 minutes.
I find this extremely poor service. My poor mother had to listen to me screaming and crying in the car because of the pain, I literally begged her to make it stop.
I was always someone who would go to medi clinic but after last night I will always go to kiaat.
I’m deeply upset with the service. I do understand there were other people who were there before me but there was no one there to assess which colour you are(green,yellow,orange and red)
Horrible service at the emergency department, waiting to see a doctor is ridiculous. Needed to wait 1h50 min for only the file to be opened and that after the patient was here 4 weeks ago so it’s not from scratch.
