Zintle Dlomo's Review

I expected the service to be horrible. But this place is beyond atrocious. I went to the labour and Maternity clinic with extremely severe abdominal and back pain. The first thing the nurses did was dismiss and downplay my pain and MY contractions. my contractions were unbearable and I made that very clear however my pain was later journaled as “mild”. Ladies, the clinic is filthy. The toilets stink, their bed sheets are stinky and bloody and you’re somehow just expected to lie in them. On the evening before I gave birth I raised a concern that i was starting to bleed and you could seee the blood clots through the urine pipe bag thingy they inserted in me. Please tell me why I was told that the bleeding is normal ?? How?? HOW IS BLEEDING THE NORMAL. I was later transferred to BM Hospital and sure enough my baby was in distress and I had to get an emergency c-section. Baby is fine. But wow. Extremely terrible service from the nurses 0/10 🙂

I had stomach cramps and couldn’t walk and it was on weekend I count myself very lucky I was first attended by a very polite security at the main entrance who escorted me to the waiting area to open a file and she left me in the hands of another security to look after me as I came alone the service was amazing,I got attended instantly seen an Indian doctor whom was very gentle, soft spoken and prescribed me my medication asked me to stay in the wheelchair till I was fit to leave.
