Life Flora Hospital

All I can do is give this hospital a 10 for everything from service to comfort. I went in from a septic circumcision done by a different hospital and they took me in even when it was not allowed. I had an insanely bad infection that opened my wound but somehow it was fixed and looks perfect. Dr Kamba was my surgeon and I can’t thank him enough for what he has done my wound doesn’t even look like a wound it’s just perfect I was under proper inspection every day days leading to the the revision. I did not feel anything during the surgery as I was under anesthesia. The food was perfect nurses and staff were friendly and welcoming everything was just perfect I would definitely recommend this hospital. 10/10

My father (a retired doctor that actually worked here for many years), went to trauma last nigh for due to a Crohn’s flare up. He waited two hours for pain medication, got admitted and has not seen a doctor since last night. The nurse’s are careless and make you feel like they are doing a favour when you ask them a question!

In pain no medication

At night when you try to sleep there is a huge party at the nurses station

The bathrooms are not hygienic at all

This ward is not meant for after care after you had an operation – the staff only attend to private cell phones and speaking their language in an English Hospital

All around me was heart patients

I was meant to be in Ward F

Bathrooms are a health risk, extractor not working, window stays broken, cut my toe on broken tiles in shower

I’m very disappointed by lack of professionalism of the nursing staff at Life Flora Hospital. They made so much noise at the nursing station, it seemed more like I was in a bar full of drankards than a hospital ward. The rooms are not properly cleaned, dont even think about the bathrooms l could not bath nor shower in them.

I have to get this of my chest. About 2 years ago my elderly mother with dementia was a patient in high care. I wanted to take a picture of her to update the family and loved ones of her condition. I was in a dictator style informed by the nurse?? that it was not allowed to take a picture. She was aggressively

rude. I still hate that hospital in how they treated me. The care for my mom was also so-so and they could line their pockets wit almost a R500 000.00 bill settled by my medical aid on which my mom is a dependant. Oh, how I still hate that place!
