Siyabonga Radebe's Review

June 13, 2024

I have been admitted for surgery since 14/05/2024 , I’m not 5 weeks and still waiting.

The priorities are not set according, I was finally booked for op on the 11th but I was canceled due to time, after have been starved for the whole day and now today the 14th I’m told that I still need to wait and not told when I can be prioritized.

I’m disappointed and angry because on the day they operated on a lady that was only admitted a couple of days before the op and for some reason she was prioritized because her surgery was not going to take long.

I’m a single parent with 3 kids, with parents who are pensioners who are chronically ill and are on medication and I’m the only person with an income and on a verge of loosing my job because of duration I have been sitting in hospital.

Furthermore I got injured in March 2nd and was told there theater was not working and once it worked, I was told their are no beds.

The Dr’s says my injury is old and I’m nolonger a priority.

SO HOW MUCH LONGER I NEED TO STAY HERE IN ORDER TO PRIORITIZED?

Trevor Munsamy's Review

Jesus. Government hospitals are absolutely ridiculous. Firstly, I waited for 4.5 hours and was still not helped. Then when I try to call the hospital, to find out where a relative is, I get put through to 5 different wards and NOONE knows where the patient is. Sheesh, our poor people have to go through this…would make you want to rather go home and just die.
