My husband is lying in ICU high care since 1st of July.his ulcer in his stomach bursts…

The first few days, the care was good, but I found, every day I come there, it is a shock, because then something else is the matter with him.

The big problem is if you phone in the answer is always….he is still the same.

Then when you get there you can see something else is wrong.. i was trying to see a doctor, and the sisters told me I must come between 9 and 12. Which i did, waiting for a doctor to tell me what is happening with my husband. Hen I saw a lovely dr Bhutt, she explain to me some procedures, and i told het they say i can only come at nine. She said no, she is available most of the time.

So who is lying and why?

It is already 16 days and my usband is still in ICU, without any of them informing me of what is happeningaround my husband? I am his wife, i need to know!. Everybody knows where he isin his treatment exct. But me.

I made an appointment to see a doctor cause i need to know the truth. I phoned in, and asked to see the doctor the next morning.

I came there and i waited all afternoon. the nurses that is now not as friendly as in the beginning, just said, maybe the dr. is busy on the groundfloor….and i wonder if they ever made the appointment.?

They do not explain where he is in his condition.

Do not even try to phone in it is always….he is still the same and when yoi come there the next morning, something changed in his condition.

He is strapped on a bed with pipes in his mouth, so he cannot talk. He can barely wave his hand, and then been ignored.

To think i decided to take him there because i thought he will be ok there.

Lack of communication is defenitely a serious problem.

MORE A MATERNITY HOSPITAL NOW. DOCTORS REFUSE BASIC HELP SEND YOU HOME. WAS FANTASTIC WONDERFUL LADY IN CHARGE BETTER YHAN PRIVATE. MOW A DISASTER MAINLY FOREIGNERS HAVING MATERITY CARE.

This Hospital will NEVER EVER see us again. The service is up to no good. My wife gave birth on the 2nd of June to a perfectly normal baby girl.

The staff is basically USELESS at the Maternity ward where you should give birth. They have that I DO NOT CARE ATITUDE.

They treat you like RUBISH. When my wife went into Labour our baby was born.

The doctor who assisted her NEVER cleaned her on the inside. She did not wash her “clean” her on the inside. They did not even do anything to clean our baby. We had to do it on our own. They did not give her a “Glucose” drip to boost her imune system nor did they give her anything to boost her. She had blood cancer when she was 2 years old. They knew that as we told them that before she gave birth. They left half of the after birth still inside of her. On the 3rd of June she got discharched and sent home. On the 7th of June we went to a Gp who said. “Your wife has infection in her body due to the womb not being cleaned properly “. So we went back to Edenvalle Hospital. I had to start a fight with them as my wife was starting to faint because of the pain. Yet again we waited up to 4 hours to be helped.

So she got admited and waited another 3 days before a gynecologist came to see her. And confirmed she has an inflection. Yet again she waited another 12 to 15 hours to go into theatre. And even after she came out of theatre something was not right. It is costing me thousands of rands now on blood tests and medication because the staff is incompetent and do not know what they are doing. You will die at that hospital. It is one of the WORST on the eastrand.

Please people for your own safety NEVER go there unless you are willing to sign your own death certificate.

Went there for help because the after birth dit not come out dit a operation and same day they send me home feeling worst my body is struggling to recover till this day and yet again i have to go to a dr to find out wat is wrong i will not go back to edenvale it was a great hospital but now im disappointed and ill
