We visited the dentist on Friday for my son who was experiencing extreme pain with one of his permanent teeth. The doctor recommended that she do a filling and if the pain still persist we can bring him back to remove the tooth. Monday we go back and this dentist refuses to take my sons tooth out even though his crying from the severe pain. She says she will not remove it and advised that we go to a specialist who can assist but can not give us a referal as she does not know anyone and says we must go to the joburg hospital. Imagine having to not go to a goveremnt hosiptal spending hours there just to get a kids tooth removed. The dentist agreed to give our money back and we proceeded to go to another dentist who was very nice and tooth the tooth out only to find that the filling that was put in was too much and was pushing on my sons nerve which is the reason for the severe pain. I am very disappointed in the service received from this dentist and i will not take my son back there.
Tried to visit the doctor twice in just over a week just to be shown away. The receptionist refused to help because the doctor had 3 patients waiting at 11 and had to be done by 1. 3 patients in 2 hours and they did not want to assist me? The same yesterday. I stay far away and was asked to come back later because he had to be done by 1. I could come back after 15:30. The receptionist doesn’t care about any patients walking through that door and is rude. If you want to say that you are a walk in doctor, then surely take in times should be better communicated. This wasted time and my 3 year old son definitely got worse during the night. No, never again
First time I’ve ever had a pain free surgical extraction (I’ve had a few).
I also did a root canal and contrary to popular belief, the procedure was completely pain free.
