Netcare Sunninghill Pharmacy

Over the past five weeks, I have visited the Netcare pharmacy in Sunninghill hospital four times for my elderly father’s discharge medication. Each time, despite there being a maximum of two people ahead of me, the waiting time has been over 45 minutes. This is unreasonable and far exceeds the waiting times I have experienced at any other pharmacy. When I see the volume of medication being dispensed to the people waiting in front of me, sometimes, it is just 1 or 2 boxes of medication, not massive supplies that could warrant the waiting period.

The extended waiting times are not only frustrating but also pose a significant health risk for my father, who must wait in the public area of the hospital while I collect his medication. The pharmacists are friendly and helpful, but something in the dispensing process is clearly not working. On one occasion, I waited over an hour just to obtain Iliadan.

This situation leaves a very negative impression and needs to be addressed urgently.

After major surgery the waiting time in the pharmacy was 50 minutes. Then your pharmacist told me that the meds would be covered by my medical scheme so I should not go to my own pharmacy. They were not. I have his name. Your pharmacy is disgusting.

This place is the worst, you can wait up to 1 hour to get medication, they don’t know what they doing useless

They are very slow you can wait for 45 minutes without anybody assisting you😭😭👎🏻
