Went this afternoon at 2pm and it was relatively quiet. But thanks to Sister A. Mthembu, it a pleasure. She was enthusiastic and cheering on my sons getting their vaccines, even commending them for being so brave, and laughing with me, putting us all at ease in quite an overwhelming setting. We were assisted in 1 hour which was quicker than expected.
3rd time being here. Not only are babies left to wait outside due to covid protacal but they leave them for last. It’s now 10:30 and not even one baby has been done. Babies are meant to have priority. Disgusting that they think it’s okay to work so slowly and not to take babies as a priority.
The service is appalling. I got there at 7am but left at 13h30 just for baby’s immunization. They went into a meeting and didn’t have the audacity to notify the patients waiting on the scorching sun. Why was the meeting not held before duties resumed because they know they are short staffed. When you complain to management, they tell you about staff shortage.
