The worst encounter after I have been working well with them for more than 5years. I was out of the GP province around the festive season and returned back on the 9th January 2022. Got extremely puzzled to receive a claim from them that I consulted on the 5th of January 2022 which is so FALSE, I mean no matter what I good/great relation I could have had with them then I really would not be realistic to drive 3 hours from where I was just to come consult in JHB and go back. Now the fight became when I raised the matter with them, they didn’t want to accept a possibility of poor controls on their side or rather an opportunity to improve their controls, they were very harsh to proof their innocence, they don’t even own a CCTV camera system which could have at least assisted to rule some of their beliefs. I stood so firm on my word and as I had more evidence that I was not the one who consulted and they were already paid INFACT they still sitting with consultation money which my medical aid have already paid them. And I am still fighting NON-STOP. Their accounts department lady can be extremely rude too, but I am still dealing with her accordingly, I will only stop once the funds have been reversed and cut ties from their services too. Owe them R3.00 and see how quick they are to call or sms endlessly not realising themselves incurring an expense which is way more than R3.00 cause they only value themselves. My encounter with them regarding this issue has been extremely bitter full of back and forth, as I have involved my medical aid as well. I mean according to them I should just have left to slide whereas it was a FALSE CLAIM and a BIG WEAKNESS IN THEIR CONTROLS….but because they view themselves as perfectionists and cannot be told “they are forever correct”. I wonder if they ever visit their “reviews side” to see what they cause to innocent people at their mercy of medical care which does not happen for free. I am finished with that Medical Centre, they HORRIBLE.

This must be one of the worst medical centers I have ever been to! I took my son 2 weeks ago for a consultation as he has a bad cough and fever, they prescribed antibiotics which we used and did not work, so when he was not getting better we took him back again, the doctor upon the second visit was very unpleasant to deal with, he is very very old and can barely speak, let alone hear what you are saying. this doctor then prescribes antibiotics to my son that contains penicillin, after we told him in the consultation he is allergic, and it would have shown in his file because when I took him the first time I also told the doctor on that occasion he was allergic! My son had a very bad allergic reaction to the penicillin! I am shocked that this can happen, especially with such a dangerous allergy! we take our children to these doctors trusting they will do what’s right and what’s best to help them, and this is what we get!!! I will never return to this practice ever again, and I strongly advise anyone who wants to go there to stay far far away!!!

Most disgusted by “Dr Tate’s” lack of respect and common decency to patients in public. I can read a sign and I can also judge when your waiting rooms are full or not. If that is an indication of your level of compassion and general respect I feel sorry for you.
