Although the building itself seems or looks a bit dated their facilities are good quality. Their professionalism was top notch & they made sure that I was comfortable & they did all this with a smile. I always hear people complain about hospital food, I have to say the food in this place well prepared. The hospital is a bit hidden though, so it might be difficult for people who are going there for the first time to locate it. One thing I didn’t like is the areas surrounding the hospital, Berea & Hillbrow are renowned as crime havens.
It’s clean and there are friendly staff there, it’s location is not good, it’s like a hidden spot. I had to ask at Brenthurst clinic for directions to get there.
It was funny, I took someone there for a scan, they paid cash and, I don’t know if that assistant was trying to be funny, she told us that she had no receipt, the book was finished!
We said nothing as the patient was in pain and needed to go for the scan, asap!
After sometime she called me to give the receipt.
