My name is Samkelo Mabaso an Aspiring Legal Practitioner.
On the 16 of December 2023 I came to Casuality with my Nephew who has been hit by a car , he was in somuch pain and he was starting to shiver and showing signs of convulsion.
The Security on duty Mr Njapha immediately noted this as an emergency and alerted the Sister on Duty Sister Gcwabaza and they immediately took him to resus room as per Dr Mnchunus instructions.
I’m drafting this email with a warm heart and tears of Joy and a mind full of Hope for the future because we dnt normally expect such amazing sense of urgency and help from public hospitals, I would like to Thank Mr Njapha ( the security officer ) for been able to note that my Nephew was going to shock and needed immediate attention,
I would like to Thank Sister Gcwabaza for her patience and assistance, she’s amazing, you can just tell she’s called to Nurising and ofcourse the main man Dr Mnchunu words fail me my brother, you’re amazing at what you do.
While Dr Mnchunu was attending to us , a patient who was over bleeding like dripping blood from his hand came in and after stabilizing my Nephew he rushed there to stop the bleeding and you can just see the way he’s so passionate and committed that if he could, he would divide himself and make sure he attends to everyone.
My only concern was he seems to have no support from his colleague , I didn’t get the name of the other Dr but everyone from Casualty ( the patients ) bebengawuvali umlomo about Dr Mnchunu.
Well done Doctor Mnchunu and your Team.
I hope Prince Mshiyeni appreciate this team and recognize them as they deserve, and maybe allocate more support for Dr Mnchunu and his team.
