My experience has been nothing short of disgusting to say the least. The sheer unprofessionalism and disrespect is on a high level. Last week I went for my normal check up (ANC) now waiting for 5 hours to be seen is a norm but last week was the lowest form of discrimination and inhumane behavior I have received from this clinic. Nurse Khathutshelo Netshifhini doesn’t care about us patience but last week after she received our files she called in a Pakistani couple to go in first to see her and that lasted close to an hour mind you the couple were last on the queue. She saw one more patient then she packed up her bags and left us in the waiting area that is cold and uncomfortable for pregnant women. No communication with us or her colleagues.Between 8am and 11 she only saw 2 patients. It’s sad how we are treated like these nurses are doing us a favor. I logged a formal complaint and I have not received any response. This is sad and heartbreaking. Don’t treat people like animals. Got to the clinic shortly after 7 and I was seen by a stand in nurse just before 1pm by this time I had finished my lunch box and was dying of hunger. Sies to how we are treated. This happened 18/07/2024
The Nurse dealing with pregnant women is utterly disgusting she’s busy with her phone all the time attends to only 2 people between 7h30 and 11 after that she goes away not even saying anything to them.
Totally unacceptable she must be fired or she must just resign if she doesn’t to help people anymore

I have previously had a very poor opinion of Parkhurst clinic – very slow service and unfriendly staff
This morning I took a friend who presented with signs of hypertension to the clinic – she was seen and treated promptly and given required medication
