Netcare Pretoria East Hospital

this was possibly the worst experience that i have ever had in a hospital. while my wife was admitted to hospital the nursing staff were very unhelpful, did not seem to care very much about her and did not communicate with her all. i am not normally one to complain, but i feel that should i not bring this to your attention then nothing can be done to sort the lack of care and compassion out at the hospital.

I visited Netcare Pta East with excruciating lower back pain last night. I received the best service from Dr RR Mamale. I arrived by ambulance and he received us immediately, prescribed pain meds and checked on me frequently. He went over and above the call of duty because there was some miscommunication from my medical aid about co-payment, he stayed beyond his duty hours to ensure it’s clarified, because he wanted to transfer me to Unitas for a specialist care. He is an amazing Dr!

I would just like to take a moment to thank and compliment Pretoria East Hospital for the wonderful service over the last decade. I have had 12 surgeries and numerous procedures to date at PTA East Hospital, from my knee to spine and neck, but also see all my Doctors there. I have a rare clotting disorder that was finally diagnosed by one of your Pathologists in 2020 after struggling with clots for 15 years now. I just found out last week that I am the only one with SPS on the Counsel for Rare Diseases South Africa’s database. I want to thank all doctors, nurses, the X-rays and everyone in the hospital for their contributions over the years. I will always with confidence recommend PTA East Hospital for anyone wondering or contemplating which hospital to go to. The doctors and staff is really professional and friendly and I have visited numerous hospitals over the years. Thank you Pretoria East Hospital for everything over the years.

I had a knee procedure done by Dr. Julyan at Netcare Pretoria East Hospital and received an outstanding service from the doctor, porter, Ward 14 and theatre staff. The Matron and Hospital manager even visited me in a routine visit to see how I am doing. Awesomely hands-on management!

I recommend this hospital to anyone, anytime.

ER was efficient and friendly on the 9th of August at night.The attending Doctor was very patient and had a sense of humor which took my focus away from the extreme pain I was experiencing including the nurse Dimakatjo Mphahlele she kept checking up on me ensuring that I was warm by giving me a blanket and explaining the whole process relating to my treament.
