I have read many reviews regarding Netcare Montana Hospital and in general Nedcare Montana Hospital doesn’t have a good name. People in general avoid going to Montana Hospital.

My wife went to Netcare Med 24 at Montana and from the time we walked in until the time she was discharged after surgery we can only praise Netcare Montana Netcare.

From Oupa in the emergency care department to Nancy Msiza and Didintle Itumeleng, in Ward 1, we received the best treatment and care.

Also when we walked in the next day for her operation authorizing from our medical aid was done and we basically walk straight to to Ward 1.

My wife shared a room with a lady, Mrs Steyn, who had a back operation and she spoke with the highest praise regarding the treatment she received from the staff in Ward 1.

Would like to share with you that my wife had four back operations and had both knees replaced meaning she has been to some of the best hospitals in Pretoria and Netcare Montana Hospital stand out as one of the best and here I include some of the so-called upper-class hospitals in Pretoria.

I have definitely changed my opinion regarding Netcare Montana Hospital.

ER admission process, well done. That is about the only good thing I can say about Netcare Montana. Patients wait up to 6hours to be seen by what seems to be the only Dr. In the ER. We have been here since 21:00 it is now 03:10. The staff are helpful the first 2 hours, thereafter they loose all professionalism and heist.

I would not recommend this hospital or ER for any medical assistance. As you most probably will either feel better or be dead when the Dr’s get to you.

THABANG LUTENDO MAPHALA's Review

The admission process was easy and quick because I completed the preadmission prior to the date. The hospital experience was okay but the kitchen department is mismanaged, I went to theatre around 15h30 and it’s standard that you don’t eat nor drink anything few hours before, only after theatre to be told that I don’t have a plate in my name and I was given left overs and as though that was not enough, in the evening everyone was given proper food and I was given toasted bread. Now tell me, why do we complete pre-admission only to be subjected to this treatment?

I would you like to appreciate Nurse Botshelo for standing out for me and making sure that I am well taken care of after surgery. Her service was 120%.
