Went in without setting up an appointment, was assisted within an hour. Dr Dreyer was so kind, she literally explained everything so effortlessly.
It was my first and last time at Midrand medical centre. It was a public holiday and my usual GP was closed.
I made an appointment for 11:15 but was only seen at 12:00, which contradicts having an appointment.
I consulted with Dr Williams, she seemed unengaged and uninterested. She didn’t even complete a full physical examination or gather any medical history not even allergies. She checked my breathing only and said everything is clear, yet I’ve been coughing so bad I can’t even sleep. I paid for a consultation to get a basic antibiotic and effervescent which I could’ve gotten from a nurse or OTC. Please don’t force people to work public holidays because us patients end up suffering. I now have to fork out more money and time to go back to a proper doctor.
