Worst doctors visit of my life. Spent over 5 hours sitting and waiting for the doctor and even after that I didn’t get a response from the doctor. I fell asleep and woke up but the doctor was nowhere to be found. on one occasion I saw the doctor walk past but did not pay me any attention whatsoever, honestly I’m flabbergasted.
A big thank you to the Morningside staff for looking after my daughter this weekend….especially the nurses in the surgical ward, everyone was friendly, kind and professional. They definitely went the extra mile in a gentle and quiet way. The beds were comfy, with a duvet, which I have not seen in other hospitals. Once the renovations are complete Morningside will definitely be a five star hospital.
A professional hospital
Extremely poor service and professionalism by Dr Glen Tshakhuma’s offices.
Currently have my 1 year old baby admitted into the Paediatric ward with severe viral gastro and dehydration. Within a space of approximately 2 hrs with my husband and I contracted the virus and are currently weak and constantly vomiting with dehydration. We were told by the nurses it is hospital policy that we go via the casualty route to get any sort of treatment. I have nobody else to breastfeed my dehydrated baby or take care of her at all and the ward sister called the casualty to make a special request. She was told by the casualty nurses that they are busy in casualty and already have patients for admission the Dr is unable to see us.
I don’t understand how, even though we are admitted already into the hospital with our baby that we can’t be attended to by a Dr and decide on our care whilst taking into consideration our baby.
I am appalled and disgusted by the poor care and consideration we were met with.
My husband and I still don’t know where we stand with our health tonight he’s unable to drive back home in his condition and I need strength to take care of my daughter…
