I was admitted to ICU 19 February this year. From putting in the drip 5 tries they dug up a vein and the pain was on a special level. I have never had so much pain from drawing blood. I complained to be told my body bruises easily??? I regularly get blood drawn and never came across such.
4 tries and 2 nurses to put in a catheter. I got a massive UTI after being discharged because of this.
Night nurse day 1 was excellent. day 2 night nurse was horrible this nurse will turn his back and walk away while you are still trying to tell him were it hurts, in ICU!
I moved to general ward on day 4 and watched a young girl abt 16yr that child cried in pain for nearly 2hrs we all called the for help for her and they came to switch of the call button n tell her it dosent hurt coz she had pain killers hours ago. She had no feeling on her arm Dr didn’t come.
Rooms didn’t get cleaned beds not changed until someone complained. Never going back there Never!
Professional life savers
The nurses at the paediatric ward are so loud. They are Very inconsiderate to sick sleeping babies. They enter the ward at midnight while having a conversation with a nurse outside. It’s extremely hard to get a sick baby to sleep, and when you tell them they will say that, thats how they speak, their voices are loud. We wake up tired from trying to get our babies to sleep and what’s worse is that they do not allow you to have a bed, you must sleep on a chair. Do not even consider going there.
Best Hospital ever. I got admitted as soon as i arrived and they helped me same time. The nurses were friendly and the doctor was very much understanding. I truly reccomend it to everyone who needs medical attention
