Great service , in Labour Ward i had since day 1 on the 25th of Dec 23 around 10 till 28th of Dec 23, gave birth smoothly The Mid wife who attended me not sure if is Mthembu but she was working night shift on those days,she was so friendly not Forgeting My Gyna Dr Ati.. I had no complains… Thank you🥰
Pathetic service at the trauma unit by Dr Khan. I was rushed to that hospital 3 times late at night and saw this Dr twice if I’m not mistake and I was told at first it was some gastro problem and the last time it was an infection. Yet I told him on my last visit that I have a gallstones which my GP confirmed and sent a letter which was not even taken into consideration. I have been suffering with this problem from July and thanks to my GP he had sent me to Victoria hospital which I saw a specialist and ended up removing my gallbladder and now I’m perfectly fine. Bare in mind Iat that time I had a new born as I just gave birth in June. I have documents to prove all of this and I will be taking this further to the ombudsman.
This is the worst hospital ever!
Admitted my husband last week Wednesday for a vascular wound
that turned septic and one week has gone by and the wound still hasn’t healed. The Vascular surgeon that only saw to him at about 8pm on the 26th of December was rude and told the nurses to just bandage the
wound cos he can’t do anything &he must go back to the vein specialist he saw previously…absolutely appalling & pathetic !!!! Will never go back to this hospital again
I’m not a person who normally complains about anything, but what happened to me yesterday at this hospital left me speechless. I had extremely painful abdominal pains and decided to go to hospital as it was getting worse, I arrived at the hospital at 18:32pm went to trauma at 19:15 till 20:10pm that’s when I decided to go home because I was not receiving any help at all. A nurse came at 19:45 to explain that the doctors are currently busy and offered me a blanket she was sweet her name was Hlengiwe or Thenjiwe I forgot, however it still doesn’t change the fact that I went home without getting any help from hospital. It saddens me that I didn’t help when I could hear the doctors and nurses arguing about a patient who medical aid won’t pay for a scan
The best experience at this facility. Doctors nurses cleaners tea girls and boys are all simply outstanding 👏 The care and dedication is heartwarming.
