A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.
Groenkloof or LMC does not care about their patients. Was sent to emergencies by my GP for admission. Before they have even seen you they charge a consultation fee of R810 excluding medication or tests done. Spent 3 hours shivering under an aircon only to be given a script and told by an insensitive doctor that sorry that’s private health care and not our problem. This after having to argue with admin staff and having to prove twice that the account was paid. While clearly unwell and unable to function properly. You could die in the entrance area but if you haven’t opened a file and paid the fees sorry can’t help you. I was discharged with an oxygen saturation level of 76%. Thats PRIVATE Health care for you and not their problem
Worst experience ever!! The ER was very slow despite not having more than 4 patients. We waited 2 hours to see a doctor. The nurses informed us we may only be 1 visitor per patient but the patient at the next bed had 3 visitors. The dr was standing and chatting with a patient that she had discharged an hour ago but still chatting and not worrying about my 16 month old baby feeling horrible! Really shocking
While in severe pain and missing my family, they made me feel safe and at home, away from home. Friendly, helpfull, these nurses deserves more respect and recognition. If ever I need medical help, I would go back definitely
