Despite the long queues the staff was very helpful
When you visit this hospital you loose all hope and trust in the human race. It makes you realise that patients are below human n are treated like ants. Today was like hell while waiting to open a file we witnessed a old frail woman being sent away because she didn’t have a referral letter from the right clinic. She could barely walk and no one cares to attend to her. Then when we were inside we sat near a man on a hospital bed in the middle of the waiting room and he was in such horrific pain. He was crying n screaming the only people helping were his family . No medical staff attended to him immediately they let him cry for as long as we waited. Then after all that trauma we were rejected. There were kind nurses in AMU like the Head nurse in charge and the nurse who did blood and BP tests, but that the extent of it. The head nurse tried her best to assist us and get us help but we were let down in the end by the Psych ward who do not put patients mentally well being first. Why can’t you help everyone there were no queues but your turning away people in desperate need of help. No humanity and no respect for the common people. We left feeling worthless and in a worse condition than when we arrived.
I was there to pick my sister up,the toilets are not clean,you wait very long,the is ok and some of the doctors are friendly.
