They are not reachable on the phone and also the service is very slow once at the clinic or hospital
I’m pregnant and wanted to book for check ups. I was sent home on Fri because they said they were short staffed and asked that I return on Monday. Upon my return on Monday, I had my sick child with me and they chased us out because they didn’t want him there. ANC dept has terrible service
Clean, hospital, effective doctor and helpful friendly staff.
Service at this clinic is absolutely bad. My son was stabbed Sunday morning ( 2 April 2023) we arrived at the clinic at around 11am. We only got help on Monday around 9am. The staff was just up and down without anything visible that they were doing. The afternoon staff failed to attend to my son up untill they knocked off. The night staff was worse together with the security guys. My son started bleeding when we asked for help the nurse told us he is not a priority he must sit down just imagine we had to use toilet paper to try and stop bleeding. They would call one patient and take hours with one patient then they will be back on their phones around the heater. Patients were sitting in the dirty waiting area with blood all over the place. The toilets were smelling and we had to endure the smell in the waiting area for the whole day and night. The cleaner was there sitting instead of cleaning, he only started to clean at around 5 in the morning. What l realised is they were only attending to patients brought by ambulances or metro police. Even if the patient wasn’t that sick they would attend to her/him ignoring those who came using their own transport. We used our own transport because ambulances take ages to come. I sincerely ask the authorities to look into this matter because it is seriously degrading the institution. Find out if the staff is tired and let them retire instead of having people who are not doing their job. Nursing is a calling but the staff at the casualty department were not called they are just there for money.
I hope the authorities will take this matter seriously SOMETHING MUST BE DONE AT THE CASUALTY DEPARTMENT. SECURITY GUARDS MUST BE TRAINED HOW TO INTERACT WITH PEOPLE . IT WOULD BE MY PLEASURE TO SEE CHANGE AT THIS INSTITUTION.
The staff especially, EPI, IMCI, PYSCH CLINIC Have patience and care for their patient
