I went to the clinic twice and it was never explained to me how the que system works. You have to stand in a line from 5am in the morning till 7h30am when the clinic opens. It doesnt mean if the clinic is open you are helped. The nurses take their own time to start long after eight or have a meeting till 9Ham or later. Then once you get a nr you have to go through the whole process of body mass, then blood pressure depending on the nr it can end upto nr 93. Once nr 93 is done for the first test then the second test will start and run through all the numbers. Because i only wanted to get my tablets for the new month i wasnt prepared to wait the whole day for tablets i had to lodge a complaint for them to help me sooner. I was told to go back to the ward and wait for the nurse to help me. They took their own time and eventually i told them im short of tablets. They said they will give me three tablets for me to rebook my consultation again for the Monday to start the process over again. Why do i have to wait the whole day just to get tablets it must be because we are the only whites. Its a repeat script there must be better ways to get a script faster. I have been sick with flu since the 10th November 2017 and because of my condition it had implications on my health. I only got panado tablets for flu thats all they wanted to give me the last time nothing to help the flu condition to be alleviated. I was as sick as a dog and wasnt feeling well but still you have to wait in the que for assistance. The worst service and also short staffed. If it is their break they will take it no matter how long the que is. They need to implement a better system to help HIV and TB patients.
