On Tuesday 15 november 2022 at 12.15pm i went to the clinic for my antenatal check up. Due to unforseen circumstances i did not go on my appointed date. When i arrived at the clinic i was instructed by clerks to go to room 2 of sister N. Williams and inform her that i am present at the clinic. Upon informing her i explained to her the circumstances as to why i came late. She became very rude. She told me she doesnt get tea time during the day and that after 12 is her lunch break. She then asked me who is going to do my vitals. I informed her that the sister who does the vitals is at her station. She still insisted that i was supposed to come early and she was unable to understand my situation. Then she asked me “what u gonna do now” to which i replied ” i dont know sister” then she said and i quote ” you didnt come on your date then u still have a dont care attitude. She refused tp help me and gave me another date… the rules of the clinic states that no health care proffesional can refuse to see to a patient during working hours yet this sister refused to see to me. I had my 4 year old son with me and he was actually getting frightened because of how abruptly sister N Williams was
Pathetic
It was terrible, because of load shedding nurses refused to see to the patients they all had a stinking attitude and to see to my baby’s cut that needed dressing the nurse said that I must take my baby home and dress it myself. It was by far the worse clinic I’;ve been to. I waited whole day for nothing. I wasn’t even seen to. Terrible !!!!
Please do not visit this clinic, the staff and reception are a joke, they are extremely rude and do not care if you are sick. They just give you medication without examining you and judge you as if you are not sick. When I was finally assisted after hours of waiting, the nurses were more interested in gossiping with each other about previous patients instead of focusing on their job that they are getting paid for. I was told by an Indian nurse that I would not be given an attendance letter because I came in at 8 am. Then, they decided to give me a letter after I had to prove that I was due for work on this day by showing them a picture of my roster. After receiving all their attitude, the Black nurse ( Noutile) decided that I would not be given a letter next time. I am disgusted by their pathetic service on a quiet day. These jobs should be given to deserving people.
