We have used the 2016 Ethiopian Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) dataset (EDHS 2016). In Ethiopia, there were nine regional states such as Tigray, Afar, Amhara, Oromia, Somali, Benishangul-Gumuz, Southern Nations Nationalities and People Region (SNNPR), Gambela and Harari, and two administrative cities (Addis Ababa and Dire-Dawa).
