I.m posting on behalf of my husband Mr Lutchman Mothilal who was hospitalized at this facility for almost a mnth. His stay was made pleasant with the help of caring n understanding staff . Doctors are very professional n understanding.
The nurses were friendly always willing to assist . The icu staff that took my daily early mornings calls a huge tnx. Food was acceptable the catering management accommodated n prepared dishes to his choice on a few occassions. A heartfelt tnx to all .frm the doorman to the hostess to the person who gave him a cup of tea to the person piked up a tissue on the floor n to everyone that aided him in the smallest way when he was unable to do things for himself n to the drs specialists surgeons etc we are grateful that he is on the road to recovery tnx
A HUGE MASSIVE shout out to Busamed Gateway Private Hospital in Unhlanga. Been here since Saturday 10th August and it has been nothing short of amazing. The food is incredible, the cleanliness is insurmountable, the care, love and support of the staff is actually quite unheard of and I have made some life long friendships whilst being here. Take a bow ladies and gentlemen, I leave here with a bag of emotions today, saying goodbye to my new “home and family” but going home to my very own loving and supportive family and friends and my family that I’ve missed being around 24/7. Let the healing begin. Cheers to you all and very well done !!
IF YOU WANT TO DIE, THEN GO BUSAMED GATEWAY IN UMHLANGA. Has to be one of the worst private hospitals in KZN. Service worse than governement hosp. Took my kid to their emergency dept for severe abdominal pains and dhiarhea, they couldnt even get drip into her. Poked and proded her numerous times until she couldnt handle it anymore, then told her to stop screaming cos shes disturbing the other patients. Iv mever in my life seen a Dr wiggle and keep jabbing a needle whilst the needle is in someones arm, and then was told that is normal practice. They took her to the toilet and just left her in there until she started screaming cos her hands became paralysed. I had to instruct them to assist her. Eventually they left her on the bed for an without any medical attention, I had to keep reminding them to assist her, the Dr was no where to be found. We then left to Umhlanga hospital where they did everything superbly and eventually removed my daughters appendix within12hrs of arriving there. Had we stayed at Busa Med Gateway my kid wouldve probably been dead by now or had half her organs removed because the infection wouldve spread to them not giving her the right ontime. What a disgusting and pathetic private hospital. Over priced with Drs and Nurses sadly very inexperienced. Terrible experience. Will never return.
