I am currently admitted at Victoria mediclinic hospital, honestly the best hospital I have ever been to and I have been to every private hospital in KZN. The ER fee if I wasn’t admitted was going to be R750, at Alberlito we had to pay R1500 just to open the file (it would be refunded if admitted but you had to pay before the doctor even saw you). The nurses and general staff are the best I have ever come across 🙌🏻 I don’t wait over an hour for them to respond to the call bell like at other hospitals. The nurses constantly come in and check if you need anything. The nurses are experts with my fragile, “baby” veins and get the drip in on the first attempt (that has NEVER happened) 😅 The kitchen staff come in multiple times a day to check if you need anything. I am given hourly updates from the nurses which is amazing to have that open line of communication 🙌🏻 I am so grateful for these amazing people being so helpful and efficient when I am unwell 💕 Thank you to the staff at Mediclinic Victoria (Mediclinic Victoria Hospital) 💕
As a frequent patient in hospitals, I highly recommend this hospital 🙌🏻 I am chronically ill as my autoimmune diseases have no cure so I won’t get better but it puts my mind to ease knowing that there is a hospital I can go to where the nursing staff genuinely care and go over and above what is required from them. Often my normal hospital stays at other hospitals ends up with frustration tears and hospital management needing to intervene because of the neglect of the patients in the ward (this is my personal experience, others might differ and that’s ok) – thankfully this does not happen at Mediclinic Victoria Hospital in Tongaat 🙏🏻 Side note: The facilities are spotless 🙌🏻 My dad took some photos to show me the hospital as I am in isolation so I can’t go see for myself 😅
